Returns & Exchanges
If you are not happy with your purchase you can return any item (excluding safety products) in its original packaging and unused within 14 days of delivery for an exchange or full refund. Details of our Returns Policy, and how to return an item, are given below.

Animal Snack & Tack offer Free Delivery to Mainland England, Wales and the Lowlands of Scotland on any order over £50 in value and weighing less than 30kg. We also offer Free UK Delivery (including Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man) on any single order over £50 in value and weighing less than 1kg. (Free Delivery is determined on the shipped weight and the net value of your order, after vouchers and discounts have been taken into account.)
All our deliveries are handled by Royal Mail, Parcelforce or locally by our own vehicles. All delivery charges are calculated individually for each order at the checkout, and all our couriers require a signature on receipt of each delivery.
If you place your order before 2pm Monday to Friday we will endeavor to dispatch the same day and deliver within two to five working days depending on the courier selected, however some orders by 'standard delivery' may take longer. (Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Scilly Isles and some Scottish Islands will take a day longer.) Orders placed over weekends and bank holidays will be processed on the next working day.
We are happy to offer a Next Day Delivery service providing your order is received before 2pm. Next Day Delivery includes UK Mainland and Scottish Lowlands only. Orders placed over a weekend or bank holiday on a Next Day service will be processed on the following working day.
Orders in excess of 125kg are currently only available via our Local Delivery service or Click & Collect.
Local Delivery: We offer a local delivery service (with no maximum weight limits) to those customers who live in selected postcode areas within approximately 10 miles of our store. For more information, and to find out if you live within our local delivery area please Click here for more details.
Click & Collect: Shopping at Animal Snack & Tack is now even easier. Browse our website, order your items online and collect them from your Animal Snack & Tack Store. Items will usually be ready for collection on the next working day. Once your order has been processed you will receive an email with confirmation of your order details. Please print your order confirmation and bring it with you to the store for collection.
Delivery Descrepencies: Please contact us immediately (within 3 days of receipt of your order) if any item from your delivery is missing or damaged. If the whole parcel is damaged on delivery please sign for it as 'Damaged' with the courier and let us know straight away.
EUROPEAN & WORLDWIDE DELIVERIES
Animal Snack & Tack offer competitive delivery rates to most countries. We can deliver up to 125kg within Europe and up to 2kg to the rest of the world. Charges are automatically calculated at the checkout once you have selected your Country. (Heavier deliveries are available and are quoted on an individual basis. Please call or email for further details.)
CHRISTMAS EXCHANGES: In addition to our standard Returns Policy any item, (excluding safety products, animal feed & supplements), purchased as a gift between 15th November 2016 and 24th December 2016 may also be exchanged at any time until the 10th January 2017. (To qualify, exchanges must be received by us on or before 10th January 2017 and be in their original packaging and unused.)
RETURNS & YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL
Your right to cancel
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right to cancel you must clearly inform us of your decision to cancel this contract, quoting your name and order reference number, either by email at email@example.com or by post to Snack & Tack Ltd, Guildford Road, Runfold, Surrey, GU10 1PN. (To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your wish to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.)
Safety Products. Regrettably, we cannot offer exchange or refunds on safety products, including riding hats and body protectors, where the seal has been broken or the box/packet has been opened.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us). We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than
(a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
(b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
How to return your goods
You shall send back the goods, or hand them over to us, to Snack & Tack Ltd, Guildford Road, Runfold, Surrey, GU10 1PN, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. We recommend that you return them to us using a suitable courier offering a tracked service and take out sufficient insurance to cover the cost of the item being returned. Please make sure that the item(s) is well packaged and you include a copy of your original invoice.
(If we have delivered bulk goods to you using our Local Delivery Service, you will also have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods to us or we will charge to collect the goods from you in accordance with our current rates which are no more that £25.00 per 50 items.)
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

PAYMENT & SECURITY
All debit and credit card transactions are processed via the Sage Pay Gateway which complies with all the bank initiated fraud checks including: AVS, CV2 and 3D Secure (Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode).
Our relationship with Sage Pay is part of our ongoing commitment to ensure that our customers feel safe at all times when shopping with us.
All transaction information passed between you and Sage Pay’s system is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to you from Sage Pay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely assured that nothing you pass to Sage Pay’s servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.
Encryption and Data Storage
Once on Sage Pay’s systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data we hold is extremely secure and we are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.
Both our system and Sage Pay’s systems are scanned regularly by Trustwave which are an independent Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) for the payment card brands.
Sage pay is also audited annually under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) and is a fully approved Level 1 payment services provider, which is the highest level of compliance. Links to Banks
Sage Pay has multiple private links into the banking network that are completely separate from the Internet and which do not cross any publicly accessible networks. Any cardholder information sent to the banks and any authorisation message coming back is secure and cannot be tampered with.
Sage Pay is controlled by Iris Scanners, which are the latest and most precise biometric security devices available for identification. As used by; chemical plants, airports, police stations, prisons and other facilities where security is paramount. No one can enter or leave the building without a valid security pass.
All employees at Sage Pay are Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checked prior to employment and no unauthorized individual has access to or is able to decrypt transaction information or cardholder data. Our systems only allow access to our most senior staff and only in extenuating circumstances (such as investigations of Card Fraud by the Police). All transaction information and customer card information is secure even from our own employees.
